Note: Praise poetry, known as “Oriki” in Yoruba culture, is a traditional form of expression used to praise and honor deities, ancestors, and important figures.
This poem is an artistic composition paying tribute to Orisa Aje, showcasing her attributes, powers, and the reverence of her devotees. 👇

Oh, Orisa Aje, radiant and divine,
Goddess of wealth, your light does shine.
With grace and power, you bestow,
Abundance and prosperity, you make us grow.
Aje, daughter of Olokun, the ocean’s might,
Born of Ogun, the god of iron’s light.
You hold the key to treasures untold,
In your hands, riches and blessings unfold.
Your regal presence commands respect,
Adorned in robes that wealth reflects.
Crown on your head, a symbol of your reign,
Queen of prosperity, we praise your name.
In white, you appear, pure and serene,
Symbolizing opulence, a vision to be seen.
Cornucopia in hand, abundance you bring,
Filling our lives with blessings that sing.
Aje-Olokun, you control the tides,
Flowing wealth, where fortune resides.
Through your guidance, financial woes cease,
In your embrace, our prosperity finds peace.
We offer fruits and grains at your shrine,
Sweets and libations, symbols of our devotion fine.
With prayers and songs, we honor your name,
Seeking your favor, our lives forever changed.
Oh, Orisa Aje, we seek your grace,
To navigate life’s challenges we face.
Grant us success in all our endeavors,
Bless us with abundance that truly perseveres.
In our pursuit of wealth, we stay true,
To the values you embody, noble and through.
Entrepreneurship, diligence, and care,
With your blessings, prosperity we shall share.
Orisa Aje, your influence does extend,
Beyond traditions, our lives you mend.
In festivals and celebrations, we unite,
To honor your might, shining so bright.
As we sing your praises, oh goddess divine,
May your blessings upon us always shine.
Orisa Aje, we offer this ode with love,
Forever grateful for the wealth you bestow from above.
Thanks for reading…. 🙏 😊
